During the summer of 2016 I worked with my design professor and a few students at Saint Louis University to found and brand an on-campus design agency, Tidy Projects.
Over the course of a few months the idea for an on campus, student-run design studio became a reality. As a team of design students we developed Tidy Projects’ visual identity and launched our website. Our mission is to provide creative students with real-world experience while still in college and to provide design services to both on and off-campus clients.
There is too much clutter in our lives. Too many advertisements. Too many bad memes. And too much bad design. Tidy Projects creates clean work that solves our client's problems.
As a student run design agency, Tidy Projects will give students a chance to work with real clients-and get paid real cash. Through meeting clients, working on teams, and discovering new projects, this is an opportunity for students to learn how to freelance their skills and work at an agency before graduation.
We recognized a design need at Saint Louis University, and since our launch, clients have filled up our inbox requesting designs. In the future, the Tidy Team will expand to be able to design for all student and local community design needs.
We like design. And we do it well.
